Hello Dear! I'm Manale

I am here to guide you, to inspire you and to empower you to grow on and off the mat with love, kindness, compassion and fun so that you become your perfectly imperfect self. Let your journey on the mat begin!

On the Mat

Power Flow Vinyasa

I completed my 200-hr power flow Vinyasa in Singapore based on the Baptist Methodology. I fell in love with it and completed the 100-hr Journey Into Power with Baron Baptist himself in Thailand. I continued with his Hands on Assist training.

Gongs produce sound waves that enter your body and mind and create a state of deep relaxation and sometimes awakening, transformation and healing. I experienced it and was so blown away that four days later I was on a plane to Hong Kong to start my amazing journey at Red Doors Studio.

Mandala Yoga

I had no idea what Mandala Yoga was before attending a class in my favourite studio in Singapore. The teacher guided us on a 360 journey on the mat. It was exhilarating, fun, challenging and I felt so complete. Back in Europe, I decided to become a Mandala Teacher and flew to London to complete the training and be certified with Julie Montagu at Whole Self Yoga.

Off the Mat

Books are my best friends! I never go anywhere without a book. My favourite are parenting books, self-development and fantasy. I love books based on reality as well. Anything really. I can’t get enough and sometimes I read them years after I bought them because I have too many of them…I have an addiction and I have accepted it.

I love musicals! They are my second favourite thing after reading. They transport me to places I can’t explain. Maybe I was performing in another life. One of my favourites is ‘The Sound Of Music’, because my siblings, my cousins and I used to play it for our parents. ‘Do Re Mi’ still makes me so joyful and singing it out loud with my daughter makes all worries disappear.

Ballets & Operas

I love ballets because they make me feel alive. I am mesmerised by the capacity of the body to move in such a flow and in such grace that it becomes impossible to distinguish the body, the mind and the spirit. When I lived and studied in Vienna, I would queue for hours with friends, to see all the ballets and operas at the Vienna State Opera. It continued in every country I lived afterwards.

Perfectly Imperfect Life

McKenzie (Aka M)

She is the sunshine in our life. The day I laid my eyes on her, I knew I would never be the same again, and I wasn’t. She stared at me and looked into my soul. It was the most magically profound moment of my life and I will be forever grateful to those big brown eyes. That day, I awakened, and it brought me where I am today.

He has been in my life for the past two decades. He supports me no matter what. Through High School, Erasmus, Law School, Bar exam, expertise, entrepreneurship, finally and forever parenthood and yoga teacher trainings! He taught me that vulnerability is the key to authenticity. I am so grateful to him for never ever giving up on me. He always had my back and will continue to do so no matter what, because this is how we rock!

Respectful Parenting

Respectful Parenting is a huge part of my life. I encountered this style of parenting when Awareness made me realise how I was raised and what I wanted to keep from it and what I wanted to change. Reading, researching, talking about parenting transformed me to the core. My favourite resource of all is Respectful Mom by Kristin Mariella.

When I step on my mat nothing else matters. I am here, I am now, I am fully me. This is where the magic happens. This is where everything becomes possible. This is where I see, I feel, I fail, I succeed, I move, I live. This is what I want to share with you. This is where I want to guide you, what I want to inspire you with and most importantly where I want you to be empowered and become your Perfectly Imperfect Self.
